What is Restylane Lyft?

restylane lyft

Restylane Lyft is new from the makers of Restylane and was just recently approved by the FDA. Like Restylane, Restylane Lyft is made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. Since hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and other tissue, there is no need for a skin test when using either filler. The synthetic hyaluronic acid supplements the body’s natural supply, which becomes depleted with age.

What should I do prior to a Restylane Lyft treatment?

Top of the page
Like Restylane, Restylane Lyft requires no pretesting, but patients should take a few precautions before being treated. Patients should avoid using vitamin E supplements, aspirin, or any similar anti-inflammatory medication prior to their Restylane Lyft or Culver City Restylane treatment, because these may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.

Are your Restylane Lyft treatments safe?

Top of the page
Yes. Restylane Lyft has been approved by the FDA for safety. Because Restylane Lyft is made of a substance that already exists in humans and is non-animal-based, allergy testing is not required. Our Restylane Lyft is free of any potentially infectious substances. The most commonly reported side effects were temporary redness, swelling, and bruising. When they occur, these side effects typically resolve within a few days.

How is Restylane Lyft different from Restylane?

Top of the page

The difference between Restylane and Restylane Lyft is that the molecule in Restylane Lyft is about 4x larger, so it takes the body longer to break the product down. Restylane Lyft is also placed deeper in the dermis and has the ability to fill in folds with less material. Restylane typically lasts 6-8 months, whereas Restylane Lyft filler treatment typically last 6-12 months.

Dr. Sarshad, Rose and the entire staff are so knowledgeable and kind. Their weight management program helped me lose 40 lbs in 4-5 months and then maintain my current weight.

I was referred to Dr Sarshad by my very good friend from college. I was very intimidated to try any kind of procedure, but the entire staff was very welcoming and created a non-judgmental environment for a newbie like me. I walked out of my first visit with some minor Dysport injections and was very happy with the results. I've since brought my mother in for IPL treatment and she loves her new skin. :)
