A 35% concentration of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a medium depth peel. For a lighter, more gentle version, view the TCA 15% Peel. The TCA 35% Peel sloughs off the top layers of the skin and works beautifully for patients with fine lines and wrinkles, superficial blemishes, and discolorations, freckles and/or pigmentations. The 35% level TCA may be used on the face and neck, as well as other areas of the body such as the hands and chest. This chemical peel in Marina Del Rey treatment usually takes around 30 minutes.
With a 35% TCA, most clients experience some redness initially. Within a few days, your outer layers of skin will turn darker, and prepare to peel. The flaking is usually complete in four to seven days. Any post “flushed” appearance will fade slowly over several weeks. The skin is usually completely healed within 1-2 weeks. This chemical peel is similar to the standard Cosmelan Degpigmentation Treatment, but takes it one extra level with hydroquinone.
Poly Acid Peel

This Poly Acid Peel utilizes proprietary Cosmetique ingredients. This chemical peel is one of the strongest of the chemical solutions and produces a deep peel. Typically, it is used to correct blotches caused by sun exposure, birth control pills, or aging and can also smooth out mid-level wrinkles.
The Poly Acid Peel is ideal for the face, arms, legs, and torso areas. Darker-skinned and African American individuals are ideal candidates for the Poly Acid Peel because of its safety track record. Recovery from this chemical peel is approximately 5 to 7 days.

This physician-supervised, one-time Los Angeles chemical peel is the new standard in the treatment of resistant melasma. The surface of the skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove any dead cells and oily residue. A facial mask is then applied under the physician’s supervision. The time required for the cream to act completely will be determined based on your skin type and the severity of the discoloration.
The day following your chemical peel treatment your skin will be slightly reddened – much like a mild sunburn – and you will experience some flaking and peeling. Some people experience stinging, itching, and a tightening feeling. This is normal, and may be alleviated by using the Hydra Vital Factor K Cream that will be provided.
Home Chemical Peel Treatment (Cosmelan 2)
Our chemical peel treatment is then followed by the Cosmelan 2 home maintenance cream. The cream will be applied daily to keep your skin smooth and clear, and maintain the lightening achieved with the Cosmelan 1. You should not use other lightening cream while on the Cosmelan system.

International Research Services, Inc. concluded the following:
- After close examination, Vi Peel was determined to be completely safe within intended use.
